Through this series of self portraits and portraits, I explore matrilineal relations and how my perspective of identity has been shaped by my childhood. Through rounds of self portraiture I identified what those features were, which allowed me to identify the things that attributed to such features. The portraits are meant to reinstate the feelings a young child has watching their parent get "dressed up".
