Mushroom Hollow, 2023
Chicken Wire, Notebook Paper, Paper Mache Mix (flour & water), Cement, Wood Shellac, Fabric, Spray Paint, Hot Glue, E6000 Glue and Faux Grass/Shrub, 3.5' x 3' (diameter)
I wanted to take something typically seen as dense and heavy and make it light and airy. I created a tree with a hollow core from paper mache and cement, and crafted "mushrooms" from laid fabric forms coated in cement and spray painted.

Baking Flower, 2023
Silicone, plaster, clay, and acrylic paint

I initially sculpted the form out of an oil-based clay where I then used silicone to layer over top to create a reusable mold. I created four figures made of plaster from the molds and finished them to resemble one another.

Zeus, 2023
Bondo, acrylic paint
The figure is a monument dedicated to my dog Zeus. I depicted Zeus dressed as the Greek God Zeus. The figure was built in an oil-based clay, then coated in layers of plaster to create a mold. The mold was cracked in half, cleaned of clay, and painted with bondo to form "two halfs".  The figure was lightly sanded and painted to completion.
